yes, inspired by old Japanese Samurai body armour and inspired from the guards from the movie Stargate.. the Egyptian style enforcers.

I think it looks like the guards from Star Gate... the original movie with Russel and Spader. So in that aspect it looks more Egyptian. Looks cool ^_^
