Modo, never heard of the CGI program.

Looks like a great model. If your using this for your um... Demo Reel. Don't use the music until you have more and more models and scene to mix into your Demo Reel.

nah this isnt a demo reel.. its just for fun.. a hobby. the music is just for atmosphere.. :D

Modo is a 3D app for the Mac.. as the majority of apps are PC based and me not being pc based i was always never able to get up and learn 3D until recently.. it was created from the creators behind Lightwave and they started Luxology and Modo. the app is great for modeling and sub divisions.. and really open for the entry level user like myself.. since i am also teaching the app to myself with no guidance, i feel it is easy enough to grasp and work thru the steps just as it would be in 2D. in terms of models, i have roughly 285 currently. i showcase only a slight visual of what i am going to bring to the table. why show it all, when only a small amount brings so many questions. ha!

thanks!!

here is a direct link to their site - Luxology: [link]

the app is considerably cheap compared to other 3D apps.. if you dont want to shell out the cash for the full version, you can download a trial version for $50 if i remember correctly.. you can use it for 1 or 2 months for a limited usage of the license which gives you access to all their library and everything for that short time.. after the license expires, you still get to use the app, just not with the functionality off their site, but who needs random meshes, create them yourself, and colour palettes, again create yourself.. so for $50 you get the whole thing over paying the full $1000.

hope that helps. ;)

Sooo detailed, sooo awesome :D And I didn't even know that you can submit animated stuff w/ music on DA :)
Oh, and it's a great thing you used that music, because recently I started to listen to Goa Trance, so Dimension 5 is gonna be a new artist in my "collection" :) Thanks!

your blowing my mind, most people think this is "techno" haha ..Dimension 5 is one of my favs which are mainly anything from Tsuyoshi Suzuki of Dragonfly records, Tip Records, Flying Rhino Records. those 4 make up the majority of my favourite hard Goa.
